In 1996, a market for recycling in the electronics packaging industry in the form of and as realised, and Holden Environmental took advantage of this niche and is now one of the main market leaders worldwide.

Project 2000 is to assist U.K. companies to achieve their PRN obligations, further encouragement of recycling.
